Community connection event calendar

Network Now gives back to the community by raising awareness and funds for its local nonprofit partners by featuring them at events, encouraging donations, expecting collaboration from the entrepreneur & career members, offering a 20% discount on advertising, promoting their events and organizing a free quarterly roundtable discussion group.

  • Fundraiser - canines on the catwalk

    Who:  Animal Lifeline Thrift Shop

    What: Fashion Show & Silent Auction with dogs and cats on hand  and available to meet prospective adopters.

    Where: The German Club, 130 Davisville Rd, Warminster

    When: Sunday, March 14th, 1 - 5 p.m.

    Why: To raise money for Animal Lifeline, a support organization for rescues, shelters and municipal groups advocating for homeless animals every day.

  • gala - an evening with ned hallowell

    Who:  Ned Hallowell

    What: Reception and inspiring, informative dialogue

    Where: Doylestown Country Club

    When: Thursday, March 18th

    Why: To support ADHD Aware

    How: $50 for general community reception and keynote speech. $100 for private champagne reception and keynote speech.  Register  Proceeds to be donated to ADHD Aware.

  • Social - Hot Yoga & Cool Party

    Who: Rhonda Uretzky of Riverflow Yoga

    What: Hot yoga session followed by refreshments

    Where: Riverflow Yoga, 9 River Rd, Point Pleasant PA

    When: Sunday March 28, 4 - 6:30 p.m.

    Why: To experience a hot yoga session with friends of Network Now.

    How:  Trial Price $8 members/$12 nonmembers  Register

  • Fair - Earth day celebration & educational event

    Who:  Sponsored by Green Changes & Network Now

    What: Storytelling for children, information booths (tentative)

    Where: Central Park, Doylestown

    When: Wednesday, April 14, 1-4 p.m. (tentative)

    Why: To teach our children about conservation, recycling & the environment.

    How: Free & open ot the public.

  • Family EvEnt - First Friday Doylestown

    Who: Each month Network Now features one of its member artists.  This month we will feature Aviva Meyrowitz of Lights Camera Acting! Theater Fun for Everyone.

    What: A fun family night of theater games.

    Where: tbd

    When: Friday, May 7, 6 - 9 p.m.

    Why: To introduce the arts to the community and support local businesses.

    How:  Free to attend.    RSVP

  • conference - mother daughter summit

    Who: Keynote speakers Michelle Grossman & Dawn Timmeney of NBC10.  Authors Vikki Carrel & Shelley Ashby of Two Balance Inc.  Presenter Kathleen Holt Whyte, Owner of Success Strategies.  Q&A Experts. Vendors. Community projects. Organized by Network Now.

    What: Presentations on confidence, leadership, advocacy, self esteem and decision making. Question & answer expert discussion panel. Time to visit vendor tables and participate in a community outreach project.

    Where: Ambler PA

    When: Saturday, May 8, time tbd

    Why: To strengthen the mother/daughter bond and empower them to make confident choices.

    How: $25 per person per session (includes one autographed copy of Chloe's Closet (ages 7-12) or Switching Lanes (ages 12-18) for each daughter.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Girl Scouts. Registration is not yet open.

    Who: Hosted by Cass Forkin of Twilight Wish. Organized by Network Now.

    What: Roundtable discussion on various nonprofit topics such as fund development, grants, board governance, budgeting, volunteers.  Special guest speaker.

    When: Monday, May 10, 7-9 p.m.

    Why: To provide guidance and support and share ideas.

    How: Free for nonprofit partners of Network Now.  RSVP

  • Seminar - making your own video for mac

    Who: Jessie Marushak of HealthLink Medical has been using her video making talents to fundraise for her organization and would like to share her knowledge. 

    What:  A seminar to teach you how to create movies and slide shows complete with titles, music, narration and more. Learn how to publish your creation when it is complete.

    Where: Saxby's, 22 N Main St, Doylestown PA 18901

    When: Thursday, May 13, 7 - 8:30 p.m.

    Why: To provide you with the knowledge to create a presentation for clients, donors, friends or family.

    How: $20 ($10 for Network Now members)  Register Limited to 16 people.
